Electrode Placement / Patient Setup

10–20 electrode placement

Standard measuring system for EEG electrode sites.

Educational reference, not a diagnostic tool. A scored event, an elevated index and a clinical diagnosis are different things. Follow your facility’s scoring manual, notification policies and clinical protocols.

  • Measure nasion to inion and preauricular points.
  • Keep impedances low and balanced.
  • Label odd numbers left, even right.
